Night Hike - Evening Canoe Excursion
My partner B and I have been talking all summer about wanting to try some canoing or kayaking (neither of us have ever tried either one) but we've yet to make it into the water. If we had made it into a canoe at least once I would be all over the Evening Canoe Excursion at Jefferson Memorial Forest. I mean come on, this just sounds like a blast.
By the light of the full moon, experience the tranquility of the evening as you drift on one of Metro Park's lakes. You will see animals as they emerge and begin foraging for food along the lake's edge.
I'd love to go but I really think our first trip in a canoe should be in the full light of day. That way plenty of people can see me when I fall out and get waterlogged.
