Phoenix Hill Farmers' Market Fall Festival
Next Thursday night is turning out to be quite festive. Not only do you have Book Club Night at Carmichael's but you've always got the Phoenix Hill Farmers' Market Fall Festival.
The Phoenix Hill Farmers' Market is having a Fall Festival on Tuesday, October 2 from 3 - 7 p.m. at 829 E. Market St. There will be cooking demonstrations by the Cooperative Extension Office, music, door prizes, refreshments, and other fun. Come pick out your pumpkins for Halloween, decorative gourds for your table, mums and pansies for planting, and pick up something for dinner while you're at it. Produce in season right now includes tomatoes, summer and winter squash, green beans, okra, beets... plus we have chicken, pork, beef, eggs, honey, salsa and other condiments, wine, kettlecorn, and cut flowers.
This event sounds like a perfect family friendly event.
