Special Screening Event for Ira & Abby at Village 8

Romantic comedy Ira & Abby was co-produced by Louisville filmmaker Stu Pollard of "Nice Guys Sleep Alone"and "Keep Your Distance (both of which were filmed in Louisville).
 
On December 14th, 2007 the film will have its local premier at Village 8. This is an exciting event because Stu Pollard is going to be on hand for a Q&A after the 7:00(ish) showing of the film.
 
The theater says that if the turnout for the 7PM show is good Pollard may stick around and do another Q&A after the (PM showing.

Buying your tickets in advance is highly recommended for this one of a kind, one time event.

I'd actually read about Ira & Abby some time ago and was excited to see it because it features a lot of the same actors and filmmakers that worked on one of my favorite romantic comedies of all time Kissing Jessica Stein, I wasn't even aware of the Louisville connection. Now I'm super excited. Thanks to Village 8 for bringing it to town and throwing a cool opening for it.
