Container Gardening Event at Just Creations

| | Comments (2) | Education , Frankfort Avenue , Free Stuff , Outdoors
My back yard is a weird hilly thing with small part getting too much direct sun while the rest of it gets hardly any direct  sun. In other words my dreams a of a beautiful backyard garden have been shattered by my current yard. But my patio? My patio is perfect for a container garden and I can't wait to start planting. I've already got a book on the subject but a little person to person information is always helpful so I'm hoping to make it to Just Creations this Saturday March 15, 2008 for their free Container Gardening Event with Jeneen Wiche from 1:00-3:00PM. Hopefully she's going to teach me everything I need to know to turn my patio into container garden central.

I've been checking books out of the library, studying seeds and learning the lingo as I'm planning a container garden this summer on my rooftop porch/deck. So I'm really looking forward to this event (just hauled a 35lb. bag of potting soil home on my scooter yesterday!). My girlfriend's birthday is Saturday but hopefully we can make it. There are about a dozen cool things going on Saturday that we may not be able to attend, but hopefully we can make this one...so maybe we'll see you there!.

Sweet hope to see you all there. And Happy Birthday to your girl if we don't see you.
