Lights Out Dinner at Mayan Cafe
This is the IdeaFestival dining in the dark dinner that I've been looking forward to. I love Mayan Cafe. I've never had a bad meal there. I can just imagine what kind of great food the chef will come up for this kind of adventurous dinner.
IdeaFestival's rolling black-outs continue in Louisville on June 11. This is the next stop in the IF Lights Out Dinner series at the Mayan Cafe, a downtown favorite, on East Market Street. Dinner starts at 6:30 Wed., June 11 and all participants will enjoy a multi-course meal-paired with wines and other spirits-without seeing any of it.
Chef Bruce Ucan is already known and celebrated for introducing Louisville to authentic, exotic Mexican cooking from his native Yucatan region. He's promising to take his creations to the next level for the Lights Out event, with unique combinations of ingredients, spices, tastes and textures that'll keep participants guessing and buzzing the whole evening.Tickets for the Wednesday, June 11 Lights Out Dinner at the Mayan Cafe are $70 per person, which includes the full meal and dinner spirits.
