I'd love you forever and you'd get the attention of really smart local people.

Great survey all around. Now I'm hungry again, dang.
What a great contest Michelle. I'm sure it was a real pain to compile everyone's choices from the post and emails, especially since some people listed 1 to 4 for each category (me included).
It does seem that you missed my vote for White Linen Tea Company for best sandwiches, probably because they don't serve sandwiches! I got them confused with the Butterfly Cafe in the same space (same owners), which does have great sandwiches. http://butterflygardencafe.com/
Yes, great survey and blog.
I've recently just returned to Louisville and have enjoyed rediscovering Louisville again thanks to this site. And have to say there's a great dessert spot I've found, the Sweet Tooth Cafe. No idea how long they've been around.
I drew a blank on the sandwich category because I completely forgot about the Welsh Rabbit! That IS the best sandwich in Louisville. Plus it's enough for two meals so I always have groovy leftovers for lunch at work the next day. My kids like it too, though you have to tell them to go easy on the mustard.
I'd forgotten about Cafe Beignet. Haven't been by in a while.
Great job on pulling off a successful reader survey! Definitely some places I'ma have to hit up soon.
