One Last Memory Walk Plea

The Alzheimer's Association 2008 Memory Walk is a little over two weeks away on September 6, 2008. I'm a bit short of my fundraising goal so I'm making one last plea for support.

If you can give even a small amount I would appreciate it very much. Fighting Alzheimer's and giving support to caretakers and Alzheimer's patients is something I feel strongly about otherwise I wouldn't keep nudging you to donate like I have been. However even I recognize I've nudged you enough this summer so I won't ask for donations again.

Speaking of donations let me publicly thank John Wurth of Hatch Creative for donating the fantastic t-shirt design you see at right for the UofL Department of Geriatrics Memory Walk team. He's a great guy and a fantastic designer. Hire him and tell him I told you to do it.
