Reminder: Free Cake at Sweet Surrender

I'm having lunch at Sweet Surrender today (mmmmm goat cheese and roasted red pepper panini with bulgur salad). Naturally I'll be taking advantage of the half slices of cake that are only available during lunch. Because my mind always remembers things involving free cake I recalled that the "buy lunch get free cake" coupon that I told you about a while ago is valid through August 31. Yay me for being able to get free cake today and yay you for being able to do the same. I highly encourage you to have lunch there today and take advantage of free cake.

And let us all enthusiastically hope that they have sour cream pound cake with caramel available today since it's my favorite.

Update: They totally had my pound cake with caramel filling and buttercream icing. You are so sad you did not go to Sweet Surrender and have it too. Particularly given that it was free. That is all.

You totally need to go there for lunch tomorrow since it's so close to your office. Lunch hours at 11AM-2PM. Don't forget to take the coupon with you and tell them Consuming Louisville sent you!

I went today and had a great egg salad sandwich and the chocolate-raspberry cake. And if what I got was a half slice, I'd hate to see a whole one...or maybe I would love it.
