Get to Know YPAL and Do Some Good in Our Community

| | Comments (0) | Community Involvement , Volunteer
I'm still determining whether my old self can actually fit within the definition of "Young Professional." I'm kind of hoping I do because YPAL has some interesting volunteer/community service activities that I might want to be involved with. Two events they have coming up that are of interest to me and might be to you if you in anyway define yourself as professional and are between the ages of 22-39 are their YPAL 101 and Community Connections meeting.

Community Connections
Community Connections is a networking event designed to bring together nonprofit organizations that need volunteers with young professionals who are looking to get more involved. The following organizations will be featured during the event.
  • New Directions Housing Corporation
  • Trainers For Kids
  • Metro United Way
  • Visually Impaired Preschool Services
  • Bicycling for Louisville
  • YMCA Safe Place Services
  • Louisville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure
  • Arcadia Community Center
  • SeniorCare Experts
  • Actors Theatre of Louisville
  • DREAM Foundation

If you are interested in knowing what non-profits in the community have to offer, please attend this event.

Doors will open at 5:15PM for registration, appetizers and cash bar.
