New Year's Eve Events in Louisville (2008)
Proof & 21c (I came up with this one on my own thank you very much)
Proof is offering some amazing sounding food both for their New Year's Eve celebration and their New Year's Day brunch. I think I'm going to have to get a reservation for brunch posthaste. Don't you steal my reservation out from under me!
21c is offering the whole shebang of partying. Food, booze, music and if you really want to go all out a hotel bed to collapse in.
Jennica's
Yes, I know Jennica's went out of business but according to Lou the sisters behind Jennica's are throwing a NYE bash.
The theme is the 1971 James Bond - "Diamonds are Forever"$20 cover, which includes one signature drink, small plate selections and a champagne toast at midnight. 8pm - 2am.Dj - Jason Clark will be spinning movie themed music. Diamond are Forever will be projected on the wall. Come as your favorite James Bond character from the movie!!! Shoot us an email if you are planning to attend. rebecca@jeniccas.com or jen@jeniccas.com
This is another Lou find. Isn't she great? Yes.
Vernon Club w/ Downtownrecording.com presents
Tim Kreckel Orchestra
(Cost: $15, 21+, Doors:8:30pm/Show:9:pm)
Our New Year's Eve Gala is a great way to ring in the New Year, and you won't want to miss out! More information will be available soon.Avalon has a really nice NYE special with two people dining for $75, including a bottle of wine.
Advance reservations are required. Call 502-574-2992 or (toll-free) 866-832-0011 for reservations. $55 ticket includes meal.
The English Grill & The Brown Hotel are doing NYE in their usual swanky and expensive style.
The Equus NYE meal is a little pricey at $85 a person but the menu sounds worth it. The highlights for me would be Pumpkin-Lobster Bisque with crème fraîche and Banana Prepared Three Ways.
